Our holiday farm at 1,300 metres above sea level combines the uncomplicated sociability of a classic youth hostel in South Tyrol with plenty of freedom and privacy. Far away from busy roads and traffic noise, our house sits like a front-row seat in nature. Here, children are allowed to simply be children again, while teachers and supervisors can breathe a sigh of relief. Growing together in the Alps. We know what makes a good youth hostel in Ahrntal: Plenty of space to fully enjoy freedom! Our large dining hall is flooded with light and serves as a sociable marketplace for stories, laughter, and plans. Where the sunlight falls through the large windows in the morning, the day begins with the scent of fresh coffee and anticipation. In the extensive outdoor area, there are no fences – this is where snowball fights rage in winter and dew-fresh mountain meadows beckon in summer. A real home away from home that is not as stiff as a conventional hotel.

Our party room is your private adventure world. A 4,000-watt sound system, Bluetooth, a laser show, table football, and table tennis guarantee undisturbed celebrations where the group can dance to its own beats.

Recharge in Peace

We offer the rare combination of hostel flair and pension comfort: Without exception, our 17 rooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. This way, everyone finds their private island of peace after a long outdoor day.

Finding Joy in Natures Gifts

It is the priceless things that count: Draw crystal-clear, ice-cold spring water straight from our house spring and breathe deeply into our spicy mountain air, which immediately clears the head.

Nature as a Classroom: Summer and Winter Adventures

Journeys of discovery in summer. The adventure begins right on the doorstep of our youth hostel in Ahrntal. The adjacent forest awakens curiosity and sharpens the children's senses. Thanks to limitless mobility via free public transport and free mountain railways (in May and June), you can conquer the surrounding Alpine peaks effortlessly and without a car key.

An absolute winter wonderland. When the first snowflakes envelop the landscape in a white dress, the ski bus (stop 1.2 km away) takes your group relaxed to the rapid slopes of Klausberg and Speikboden. Glittering snow and sporting peak performances await you!

An Excursion to the Schwarzbachalm (The Experience Plus)

Experience cabin magic. An absolute highlight for every group is our very own Schwarzbachalm. After just a 15-minute walk on our illuminated alpine path, you dive into a fascinating Heidi idyll. The excursion is made perfect by hearty cabin evenings with the scent of sweet Kaiserschmarrn and fresh alpine hay in your nose. During the day, the children can find new animal friends in the petting zoo and laugh carefree.
